Roy serves as the Vice President of Engineering for American HealthCare LLC since 1999. Roy oversees the capital needs, new development, and renovations, as well as Maintenance, Environmental, and Life Safety compliance for all the facilities.

Roy started his career in 1982 for a multinational corporation where he managed the physical plant systems for apartment complexes, high rises, and eventually special project management. Roy has written numerous Life Safety codes for the industry. Roy can be credited with drafting new legislation for locking procedures in Virginia Nursing Homes.

Roy serves as a member of the Executive Board for NFPA – Healthcare. He also serves on the Life Safety Committee for American Health Care Association. He is certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Class “A” Contractor and holds numerous trade cards and certifications.
