Welcoming Mendy Caldwell: Our New Regional Nurse Consultant

We're excited to announce a new addition to our clinical team, Mendy Caldwell, who joins us as our Regional Nurse Consultant. Mendy's experience and passion for long-term care make her an outstanding addition to our family.

Mendy's journey in healthcare began as an LPN at Heritage Hall Blacksburg, where she gained valuable experience in medication administration, wound care/treatments, and quality assurance rounds. These foundational experiences set the stage for her career.

Determined to excel, Mendy decided to further her education and obtained her Registered Nurse degree from New River Community College. This achievement marked a significant milestone in her nursing career, allowing her to expand her horizons and make an even greater impact in the field of healthcare.

Mendy's career continued to thrive as she assumed the role of Director of Nursing at Heritage Hall Blacksburg and another local facility. Her leadership and management skills, combined with her dedication to quality care, were evident in the improved well-being of residents under her watch.

We are delighted to welcome Mendy back to the AHC family as a Regional Nurse Consultant. Her return symbolizes not only her connection to our mission but also her shared commitment to promoting excellent resident outcomes and maintaining the highest quality of care. Mendy is passionate about serving others and dedicated to fostering growth in those she works with.
