Jim Garrett, Joined American HealthCare in January 2003 Jim has over 25 years of experience working in the Long-Term Care industry.  He has implemented billing and clinical systems for a long-term care company in Atlanta, GA that serviced over 103 nursing homes across the United States. He was responsible for the installation of over 500 computer systems during an 18-month period as well as procuring, installing and maintaining corporate network systems with an IT staff of 8 employees. He was also responsible for the procurement, installation and management of one of the first fully integrated electronic health record systems in the state of Virginia in a long-term care setting. 

Jim is currently responsible for overseeing the security of electronic health records and network protection. He oversees operations of over 450 electronic devices across 18 long term nursing home facilities and a user base of over 1800 users. Although he only has a staff of 4 including himself, he takes pride in the quality of work that his staff does on a daily basis. Jim is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He is happily married to his wife of 28 years and has 4 adult children and two granddaughters. He enjoys fly fishing, golfing and especially spending time with his family.
