Located in beautiful Central Virginia, Heritage Hall Brookneal offers a wonderful small-town atmosphere for recuperation and healing. With both Medicaid and Medicare certified accommodations, we provide several therapies including physical, occupational and speech therapy, specialized wound care, feeding tubes and trach care, as well as outpatient vital stim therapy for patients.  Our staff includes local residents who are very involved in the community by hosting breakfasts at the firehouse, working with the local Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering at the food pantry. Our staff also takes great pride in how well they know their patients and are invested in fostering their recovery. We understand that socialization and community involvement are very important to the health and wellbeing of all our patients. That’s why we plan daily social events and have a highly organized volunteer program that enables residents to enjoy outings, crafts, games, parties, music programs and religious services. This level of personalized care makes a big difference—over 80 percent of our patients return home. Our friendly, family-oriented atmosphere is key to making our patients feel at home.
